The connectors on the back of the gauge housing are tight when they are plugged in? And there is no contamination on the plugs?

I have Twisted the dimmer switch however it only changed the odometer light, which is the only light that works except for the indicator lights ie 4x4, gas, brights, ect.

The connections on the back of the dash are nice and tight. No corrosion

This same thing happened to me on my 97. I took the headlight switch out and shot the exposed dimmer contacts with contact cleaner and its been working fine ever since.

The headlight switch on my 97 is the dash mounted pull-out type switch, so removing the steering wheel was not needed.

I'm not familiar with the 2003 dash set up, but I'm assuming based on your question that the headlight/dimmer switch is mounted on the turn signal stalk?

Sorry about the profile fill out. Couldn't remember my password and needed help so I through out a new profile on my iPhone.

Omgyesihavethos is the account I believe :/ not sure cause I haven't been on jf in a while.

The turn signal, headlight, dash dimmer is steering wheel mounted of course. 90$ piece. Wasn't looking forward to buying it. Luckily, discount auto took the choice away from me by not having any in stock. Lol.

I tried to check for any electricity with a voltmeter. Everything checked out so no shortages. I'm guessing I will have to actually replace the headlight switch ?

Any other ideas? I used up the whole day off to fix this with no luck.
