In Dash Cb Mount
I would like to replace the factory radio with a nice weather band cb. Has anybody here done this? I'm trying for a clean, factory type look. Any suggestions? I've spent an hour seaching for information and it seems nobody has done this before. The Uniden Bearcat with built in speaker would be my first choice but the dimensions look wrong.

shouldnt be too hard... a normal cb radio is about the size of a cd player so if you can ffind one of those plastic face plates for a cd player and zip a few screws into the sheetmetal back there you would probably be set let us know how it works

You might want to check out the marine-type CB's. I've seen ones that mount similar to a car stereo.
