Dana 35 drum brakes transfer to Dana 44?
Will the Dana 35 drum brakes transfer over to a Dana 44? I can purchase a Dana 44 without brakes and would like to know if the drum brakes on a Dana 35 would bolt onto it. A Dana 35 without brakes is worth just as much one with, $0.
So I am not worried about what to do with my Dana 35 that doesn't have any brakes. Thanks in advance

If your 2000 set up is the same as my 2002 than you won't have any problems. All of your hardware will swap over (backing plate, hard lines......) Just make sure the D44 axles have the drum brake retaining plates (they are flat, the disk brake ones have a lip).
