Dana 30 to High Pinion D30 Swap - Driveshaft?

Doing a swap from a stock Dana 30 in a TJ to a HP Dana 30, does the swap require a new front driveshaft or does the stock one from the TJ fit it perfectly?

Thanks,

Dave aka Ghan

I would think the length would be better than before. With 4" of lift, and a ~4" higher pinion, seems like it would be about perfect as far as the length goes.

Sorry to steal the thread. I am installing the front HP D30 and I am having fitment issues with the front ds. Is there a technique to install it that I haven't tried yet? I have a 4" lift. I just removed my tc drop. Could that affect it?

Bolt one end in and then the other end.
