D44 yoke strap/bolts...im guessing theyre not the same as D35?

I have completed ALL of my axle swap and SYE install except being able to bolt in the rear part of the drive shaft to the yoke differential.

My strap and bolts from the D35 dont work in it, and I tried going to the auto parts store and got new ones for dodge/jeep and they dont work.

My axle is from northridge4x4 and I've got a Tom Wood's shaft. The yoke is not threaded, do I need some sort of U-bolt kit or something?

Yes , you'll need a u-bolt kit . I did the same with mine .

If i could find the NAPA part number right now I could hook you up but
i'm heading out the door

Yes , that's the correct part number if You're gonna go with the Spicer U- bolt kit .

However , I'm going to recommend You go to NAPA and have them cross reference the Spicer part number to a their part number .
And then just go with the NAPA kit instead . They're better and cost less !

I found that the Spicer u-bolts are too hard , breaking them upon installation is all to common .
And , the threaded portion of them is too short .

I've had complete success with the NAPA kit , the entire u-bolt is heavier and the threads are longer .

To accurately answer Your original question ..........
The strap bolt kit from the 30 , 35 , & 44 are all the same .
The 35 has it's own yoke while the 30 & 44 yokes are identical .
Your axle was delivered with the stronger u-bolt style yoke .

I converted both of my yokes ( 30 & 44 ) to this better style .

They both use the 1310 series u-joint. A u-bolt kit isn't required but it is stronger than straps... even though few have problems with u-joint straps. That the OE straps and bolts are a different size between the OE yoke and new yoke is possible but they should still accept the same usual 1310 series u-joint.

Look in the box with any other parts you got from Northridge.
Dave put my new u-bolts and nuts in the box with the ARB stuff.
