Web Wheeler Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Pacific Northwest Posts: 2,955 | I cut the last 3" or so off my Cherokee XJ because it would sometimes hangup or drag off-road during high departure angle situations. Cutting it off worked great. I intend to do that with my LJ now, except do better than last time. Instead of just cutting it off, I'm going to have a muffler shop cut out a 3" section, then move forward the downward bend part. That way I still have the downward bend, which keeps exhaust, fumes, and associated rust issues away from the underside of body, but I can have better clearance. |

size and skill matter Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Louisville, KY Posts: 5,364 | mine's dumped right after the Cat. It was dumped right after the axle where it goes up and over the axle because I bent the pipe off in the back on a rock. It's dumped after the cat right now because of my Clayton Long arm. __________________ Tyler BRIGHT SILVER METALLIC TJ Custom Streeeeeetched, Locked, and 36s.
