Cut Exhaust Pipe

Has anyone cut some of the end pipe off thier stock exhaust after a BL? It and the gas tank skid look silly. Pictures and suggestions would be great!

I cut the last 3" or so off my Cherokee XJ because it would sometimes hangup or drag off-road during high departure angle situations. Cutting it off worked great.

I intend to do that with my LJ now, except do better than last time. Instead of just cutting it off, I'm going to have a muffler shop cut out a 3" section, then move forward the downward bend part. That way I still have the downward bend, which keeps exhaust, fumes, and associated rust issues away from the underside of body, but I can have better clearance.

mine's dumped right after the Cat. It was dumped right after the axle where it goes up and over the axle because I bent the pipe off in the back on a rock. It's dumped after the cat right now because of my Clayton Long arm.
