Crown SYE + CV

I've been doing a little research on SYE and I think i narrowed it down to the Crown. The reviews have been positive and the price is good, ~$200. I also need some recommendations for a CV drive shaft, and length. my budget is ~$350.

I run an e-bay special through Tatton's driveshaft.
I have nothing but good things to say about them and they're priced right too.

Tom Wood's
Tatton's
Carolina Driveline

Any of those should be fine.

Or you can have one built by a local drivshaft shop if you have one.

See if you have a local driveline shop, if you do, you can get a XJ front shaft at the junkyard for $25, and have it shortened and balanced.

X3 on Tatton, search ebay for SYE CV TJ and you'll find him quickly, he sells a Terraflex SYE kit with his long travel CV shaft for $410 shipped (that's both the SYE and the CV).

His drivelines are a work of art, mine sat on my table in the house for 2 months, I hated to see it go but the Jeep had to have it lol.

Edit: I see he is charging $50 for shipping now, still very worth the price. One of his ebay listings here.

After more research, i'm going with the Tatton kit.

Thanks everyone.

Stock Rear driveshaft length is 28 1/8

Glad to hear you made a decision! To throw a wrench in the works, I have heard a lot of great stuff about Adam's Driveshaft. My buddy paid $420 for his bolt on SYE and DS. No complaints so far and its beefy
