Cracked a Xenon Flat flare!

I have the Xenon flat flares.

Now when I was considering buying these, I read around a lot, because they are really quite pricey... and from what I read, they seemed pretty indestructable.

So, this weekend, I get a little bit of mud on them, and a buddy bumps into one of them (with his body, not his vehicle) and CRACK! The mud falls off and there is a HUGE crack in my drivers rear flare.

Beings that they are about $100 a piece, I am very unhappy. Especially since so little force was applied to the flare and it breaks.

Anyone else have similar experience?

I have had them since early April of this year. I have been putting the UV protectant on it like it recommends very regularly too.

Major bummer.

Talk to the manufacturer or vendor, I've had the weight of the Jeep laying on mine with no problem at all, well none related to the flares, they bounced right back.

Yeah I don't get it. Xenon got right back to me after I sent them a message on the website. We will see how they handle it.
