cracked header

so my header is cracked
I am thinking about going with the banks torque tubes
and the banks monster cat back exhaust

has anyone else ever ran this setup?
Does it give much more power?
and I also sort of want a nice louder throaty sound
Is this setup good or does anyone else know of any other good ones
thanks

I've got a banks header on mine and it produced a pretty nice sound. It doesn't add any noticeable power, it doesn't improve MPG. Since upgrading I've read a bunch of reports of people who have had the Banks header crack... I'm hoping it isn't an issue, but I almost wish I went with the cheap header that has the flex joints. We'll see.

I recommend the cheap header with the flex/expansion joints. This is your best bet at preventing the same problem from happening again.

All the other aftermarket headers (Banks, Borla, etc.) have cracking problems.

Here you go:

I'd pick up an OE gasket from the dealer rather than using the one they supply if you get this header. The OE gasket is raised around the ports for a better seal. They cost around $16.
