CPS Sensor problem

So last weekend I go start up my jeep and it starts but then dies immediately, I restart it and manage to drive out of the driveway and it dies again. Did this a few more times. So I replace the CPS sensor and the problem goes away, starts running perfectly again.

Last night, about a week after replacing it, it does it again. So I know I have to replace the sensor again.

My question is what is causing the sensor to keep dying? and how do I fix it?

Thanks

2005 Wrangler 4.0L

Did you replace only the sensor or the whole drive assembly?

Have you seen this thread?

Sorry I should clarify, by CPS I mean Crank Position Sensor, not Cam Position Sensor
