CPS Hitting tub

Working on a friends 01 TJ, when trying to removing the CPS the damn thing wont come out all the way-Its hitting the curve of the tub? Anyone heard of this before? I tried to jack the vehicle up some but still couldnt get the damn thing out.

It has an auto trans.

grab the rear of the Tcase and pull it toward ya... Or push it..

I had the same thing happen.. It has to go in perfect and out the same way..
Had I not of just pulled the CPS out I would assume it was wrong one caue it was too large.

I had a thread on this just a few days ago. Best option was to lower the tranny skid down a few inches.

I saw a post somewhere where someone cut a 2" hole where the crank sensor is to make it easy to remove. When he was finished he closed the hole with a 2" rubber plug.

Found it.
