cowl snorkel

Here's my stab at a snorkel. I've allways had my K&M filter inverted and hooked up to a cut off trottle body tube. It flows lots of air that way but the air is hot air. I cut the bottom of my air box off (bottom part of air box). I then put a new bottom on and cut a hole in the end of it. Now I'm able to run a striaght 2" pile throught the fire wall to pick up cool air. I think it will work very well. I was able to rid my self of one elbow. There is one elbow under the cowl pointing to the passager side. I don't have to take any thing apart to get to the filter. I can just unsnap it and pull the bottom(now the top) off and bam theres the filter.

I haven't noticed any more noise at all. It doesn't flow as much air as before but what air is coming in the intake should be much cooler than before.
I should point out that I have a 1" body lift so there is a little more room than rigs without a BL.
