Cover for a topless Jeep
So it was so nice in Ohio last night that I left the top off my Jeep sitting in the driveway, when I got in the Jeep this morning to go to work it was a little wet from the dew that was on the ground. Just curious what everyone uses to throw over the top of the Jeep if they are going to leave it open for the night so you don't have to put the top back up and take it off again in the morning.

I use the "Jeep Logo Cab Cover" as it is described by the Quadratec catalog. It works well for keeping dew off as you describe, and for the light rains that I've used it for. I don't know how well it would do in torrential downpours, as I've always been able to put the top up beforehand.
One of the nice things about this cover is that it will fit with or without a soft top on. In winter, I throw it over my soft top before ice storms, and it keeps me from having to deal with icy vinyl windows. There may or may not be better options for the $130 that Quadratec is asking, but I paid $20, and I'm pretty happy with it. |

I only use it if it's going to rain. ![]() Does your s not have the strap that attaches to the footman loop on the hood? Or do you just not use it?

I have had a couple of Jeep covers over the years. Think I still have one somewhere in the basement. But, I gotta tell ya, what a hassle sometimes. Now, I just flip the top itself up and just clip one side. I don't attach the corners or the windows or the door section, I just flip the top up. I just leave it like that. Un clip the one side and fold it back down in the morning. Easier and quicker than a full Jeep cover in my opinion. Cheaper too.

Another vote for the raingear cover (jeepcovers.com) Keeps rain and dew out. I live in the Seattle area and have the top off from April to October.

I'm currently not using anything.
![]() I plan on picking up a rain cover when I have the extra cash, but right now I'm just taking the chance. I just watch the weather every day, and if there's a slight chance for rain, I put the top up (but usually leave the doors off and rear windows out). If it's gonna storm, I'll actually put the entire top on (but right now I don't have any rear windows.....)

i've had three. the one from jeepcovers.com is by far the best. the other two would keep a light rain out, but water would pool up top and seep through. So two covers and two radios later, I went with a jeepcovers.com from raingear. The best.

I have to vote for the Raingear also. Nashville loves to have those mystery storms that come out of nowhere and clear up in a few minutes. I keep the Raingear in the back if the rain comes I run out of the office put it on and get back to work, alot faster than replacing a top in the rain.
