Constant Creaking

Hello everyone! New Forum member here.

I just purchased a 2000 Wrangler. V6 automatic. Has a 4" lift with 33 X 10.5 tires. Here's my question. The Jeep creaks quite a bit when either coming to a stop or starting off. Is this normal, or should I begin looking for the cause of the problem? I don't mind the creak so much, as long as I know it's not a sign of a bigger problem.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

start by checking all bolts on lower control arms, front and rear trac bars, front and rear sway bars and sway bar links. if there are grease fitting on the control arms grease them. and check the bushings for wear. also check your u-joints.
