coil spacer lift question

gonna put 2" spacers on the jeep soon already got 3" coil lift, the question is when i add the spacers for a total of 5" over stock ride height what problems do you think i might run into or should it just be smooth sailing (for a jeep ) and do you think i should replace the shocks if so anyone wanna send me in the right direction?

Spacers will be fine. You need longer shocks. May need a SYE if you don't already have one. Try using the search function before starting a thread covering information already out there. Check this out:

^ That should be all you need. Have a nice day.

need more info mostly but from ur profile you may run into driveline vibes. a SYE kit might be needed. depends what shocks you have now. bumpstops extended. shocks everyone will refer you to OME or billstein

don't add 2" spacers on top of 3" lift springs. horrible idea.

search about something called coil bind. you'd have to bumpstop most of the uptravel out of your suspension to prevent issues.

if you want 5" of lift, buy a 5" lift with 5" lift springs.

See all that crap linked below, in my sig? Read that.

You are going to have a 5" lift. You'll need most or all of the following:
Adjustable control arms, front & rear.
Shocks, front & rear.
Slip yoke eliminator & CV drive shaft.
Control arms, upper & lower, front & rear.
Longer anti-sway bar links, front & rear.
Longer bump stops, front & rear.
You'll be better off buying new, longer springs.

You can't just throw the spacers on top of the coils and drive away.

Do some research on what the better lift kits include that give you 5-6 inches of lift. That's what you'll need at a minimum.

Welcome to the forum.
