clutch wont engage and jeep wont fire

got stuck in a mud hole sunday and my clutch stopped working
got winched out and my jeep wouldnt start
got it started and promptly over heated and blew my rad
i got it towed home
and put a new rad in
changed the oil and she wouldnt start
so i got my starter rebuilt (it had no brushes left and the solinoid was shot and filled with mud)
just put the new starter in fire it over and she started right up
clutch still wouldnt engage so i turned it off to add more coolant
and now it wont fire again?
any thoughts?
im pretty sure the clutch is filled with mud as it was just put in last thursday
but any input would be great
its a 01 with a 4.0 and nv3500 (also brand new thursday)
help

Did you press in the clutch when you were sunk in the mud?

Your radiator was clogged with mud, that is why you overheated..

Make sure you have a gallon of coolant and a gallon of distilled water in your cooling system. No more no less.

Could be a damaged crankshaft position sensor mounted to the flywheel housing at the top on the driver's side. Never EVER depress your clutch pedal when in deep mud, doing so allows mud to flow in between the clutch disk and flywheel. You should change your tranny gear lube too.

You can try driving into a fresh water stream and engaging the clutch.. otherwise, pulling the transmission is usually the only way to go about fixing it.
