Clutch Master Cylinder / slave install question

I recently bought a master cylinder, fluid line, and slave cylinder combo unit. Mechanically putting it together worked fine. However when trying to connect the master cylinder electrically it won't work. The part that came off my original master cylinder had male connecters and my new cylinder has a female connecter. Is there any sort of adapter that I need to get to fit the electrical part together? Or can I splice the old connecter on to the new master cylinder cords?

there shouldn't be anything that plugs into the master cylinder thats electrical unless its the clutch sensor. the clutch sensor is just reused and is attached to the rod that connects the clutch petal to the master cylinder. do you have a photo?
