This clip fell off my door anyone know what its to

Hey guys I have half doors on my 98 jeep wrangler sahara. When I opened up the door today this little clip fell onto the ground. Does anyone know what its for. Sorry for the bad pic quality all I had was my webcam to take the pics with.

I think you guys are saying to same thing and I agree.

OP, see if both screws on the rubber handle door pull are in place and tight.

I've seen that same clip behind the door panel, that secures the torx screw, that holds on the inner door lever. (to open the door from inside)

I'm betting it fell out from the dashboard or somewhere else, into the map pocket(or other nook or cranny) then fell out when you opened the door. Pic is very unclear in my phone. But, other than falling when you open the door there is no indication it was a part of the door.

I will be taking apart the dash sometime soon to put leds in the dash cluster I will keep an eye out for anything that might have fallen off.
