Clear Lenses for Park Signal and Side Marker

Anyone using these? They replace the front park signal(Rectangle) and front side marker.

I found them on 4wd.com for 26$ (Park Signal) and $24 (Side Marker).

Probably going to order them tonight. Was wondering if anyone had problems installing, or some such. Legal matters(The bulb is amber, so I suppose thats why they're legal)... etc.

Or just post pictures of yours with them. Any info, pictures, etc welcome.

the parking lights can be clear, but there has to be a orange reflector in the front/sides to keep it legal (at least in MA) Will you get caught maybe maybe not. As far as the install it's a matter of a couple torx screws.

I have them also, but I put in an orange bulb that came with it.

I'm contemplating on going back to clear bulbs until inspection, and swapping in ambers back in

Super easy to install. Even with the amber bulb some states require the side marker itself to be yellow but it just depends on where you live and how strict they are. I just passed inspection here in VA with mine on. Even if you have to swap them out for inspection in your state it's only about a 15 minute job.

4wd.com says the front lens will only work through mid 2002 because of a different light socket. Is that right??

4wd no longer carries them.

I found this out after I ordered and paid for them.

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showt...03#post2135803

Guess it's back to shopping around, and paying 20 bucks more for each set then 4wd.com had them for.

ALTA...I got mine from this place and I switched out the Amber to the "super "bright white in both turn and park and side markers I ordered PIAA super whites "BULBS" they look very good at dusk and night.
In Oregon where I live i just got on web and looked at what Oregon specifies for turn and park colors and Law is " blinkers and park and turn" must be WHITE or AMBER no blues or reds etc . I got PIAA front bulb and PIAA side bulb.

I didn't see that Rocky, it was on the page after I found the lenses.

But it's 74.98. While each independent set is 39.99 = 79.98. Only saves me like 5 bucks. Besides, 74.98 + 14.99 S&H = 89.97$.

Numnuts found a good deal though, Sidemarkers are 29.99 and Park Lamps are 32.99. = 62.98 + 7.62 S&H = 70.60$.

I know, I'm a penny pincher. I just don't see any reason to waste money.

You're right though... I would do the same thing.

Back when I bought mine, I just loved Quadratec for their fast shipping because I was so impatient. Now that I know how expensive it is owning a Jeep, I don't mind waiting the extra days

Quadratec is a great company though and have some nice products
