Cigarette lighter fix

my cigarette lighter doesnt work. i get no power from it all. what might the problem be and how do i fix it?

did you check the fuse? its behind the glove box

Blown fuse? Replace it. Also, it'll only work while the key is in ON position.

Also if your switched power source behind the glovebox doesn't work its the same fuse.

Is the fuse behind the glove in the 2000 XJ? My lighter is out too. (yes i did a search first before creating a new thread )
