Check engine light reset.
Light came on. Had it scanned. O2 sensor was NG. Changed it. Runs like new again. Need to reset check engine light. Can I reset it with out the scanner?
If it's worth doing, then it's worth overdoing.

You can unplug the 4 wiring harnesses that hook up to the computer on the passenger firewall. Leave them unhooked for 30 sec then plug 'em back in. Be carefull to push straight in when hooking them back up. You will wipe the PCM clean and the Jeep will need to "relearn" idle and LT/ST fuel trims, but you will not erase the radio settings. Start the Jeep and allow it to idle a few minutes in park, then in gear, then drive it for about 10-15 miles after it has completely warmed up. You should do this anytime you replace o2 sensors.
