check engine light question?

My check engine light came on, while driving today. I checked the code through the key on/off sequence and it came up with a P0442 code. All I have found is its some kind of vaccume code. Can anyone tell me about this code? And the fix!!

Thanks in advace,
jclaude

PS. I did check all my vac. hoses and they appear to be good(no dry cracks or holes).

That's an evaporative leak, not a vacuum leak. That could be gas cap related, ceck your gas cap to see if it's tight. Did you happen to refill with your engine running or not tighten the gas cap down all the way?

x2 on the gas cap, I've got the same code before, just had to tighten my gas cap (three clicks) and get the code reset.
