25 A shorted or open condition detected in one or more of the idle air control motor circuits. Actual idle speed does not equal target idle speed.

thanks for the info, but I already knew what the error code meant, that is why I replaced the idle air intake motor. I dont know why I still got an error 25 after repalcing the motor is the problem. I cleared the pcm and the check engine light went away, I will see in the next couple of days if it stays gone or if it comes back

Oh, sorry, now that I reread your post I see you were actually pretty clear about that. I guess the old mind went into autopilot and took my fingers with it.

From a little searching I see that there is a missing OR in there.
25 should read:
A shorted or open condition detected in one or more of the idle air control motor circuits.OR Actual idle speed does not equal target idle speed.

I'd say check for a vaccum leak somewhere. I know that's vague but sometimes that will cause incorrect idle or rough idling.
