ive been looking for some cheap decent looking fog lights.
i didnt want to spend a couple hundred for some nice lights that im just going to screw up and bash while off roading.
i ended up going to northern tool, there i found some 7" lights with plastic guards (mostly for looks - they arent going to protect the light from flying debris). i bought 2 of them, a toggle switch, and some wire all for about $30.
i put them on last night, and BAM, nice looking lamps for cheap. i dont have to worry about messing up some expencive lights. (also - im a tight wad)
all right i have pics. someone might want to put them up for me, when i do it the just come up as links.
anyhow, you can see how i ran the wire through the bumper/frame and into the engine compartment, i ran the hot wire to the fuse for the rear wiper (i dont have one) that way if i leave the switch on they turn off when the key is off.
not to bad for the price, and like i said before - i dont have to worry about screwing up a nice expencive set of lamps.
