cb radio mount

Higuys. I just bought a Cobra 29 nw CB and I was looking around my cab and I can't find a good place to mount it. Anyone have any ideas they want to share.

run a search using the words "cb radio" and all open forums instead of just the tj one - it'll give at least 17 different subject threads to go through. at least it just did for me. that oughta give you plenty of ideas to keep you busy for awhile.

Mine is mounted on the roll bar between the driver and passenger.

quick question.. how heavy duty is that mount that turbo city sells? i only wonder because my radio is heavy and i dont want it screwing up the windshield frame by pulling out or bending while going over big bumps..

It's pretty stout. I only use the two screws that attach the footman loop to the windshield frame, but it does have three additional hole so you can mount it more securely if you need too.
