Canadian Jeep

So my jeep was made in Canada. Is there any difference between mine and the ones mad in the good old U.S.A.

I didn't realize there was a plant in Canada that made them. All the ones up here come from the US as far as I've seen.

are you sure someone didnt slap that sticker on it? I'm almost positive they don't make them at the plant up here..

one of the guys from our Jeep club works at the Chrysler plant in Brampton (Canada). so i know they dont make em there.

2006 TJ SE - Does what I want it to do.

The sticker looks professional. It doesn't look like something someone would place on there. Plus the guy that sold it to me said he got it in WA. And that it was made in Canada.

The last Jeeps to be built in Canada were the CJ's Something like 85-86 model. They closed the plant and moved it to OHIO for the YJ build. There are only 2 plants left in Canada. Both in Ontario. One in Windsor. ( They build the Minivan and the Pacifica) They other is Brampton( This is the one I work at, We build the 300,Charger,Magnum and soon to be Challenger).

Having a Block heater has nothing to do with a Jeep built for Canada. Depending on options. It will have a block heater installed depending on which part of the Country it is going to.

.If you have one and it has never been used, It will be tied up on the right side of the engine bay. It is a electric plug you plug into the wall to keep you engine warm in the winter so your engine can start. Less stress on the motor in cold weather. Sometimes it can get so cold they won't even turn over

If your Jeep was built for the Canadian market, the speedometer should be in KPH.
