Have you looked at the springs?
XJ rear has leaf springs. Your TJ has coils.

The front suspension components will work, but not the rear.

you could totally do it, you just have to change your rear suspension to a leaf spring set up, cut majority of the bracketry off of your rear-end and re-weld new spring perches and stuff. i strongly recomend that you just go ahead and stick with the tj bolt on lifts. rough country makes a 4 inch lift for right around 500 bucks you could squeeze 35s under it then but its not recommended...

Nothing would work properly.XJ has rear leaf springs and 3" front XJ coils would lift it way more than 3" on a TJ.Just buy a Zone 3" lift.
