can't adjust trac bar

I have installed new adjustable control arms and trac bars front and rear. The rear trac bar was no problem. I cannot get the body to move on the axels to adjust the front bar. The right side of the jeep is 11/2 inches to the left--according to mu calculations the jeep needs to come the right 3/4 inch.
I have tried truning the steering wheel and the wheel turns but the body does not shift (it will if I go the opposite direction. I tried using a 2" rachet strap to pull the body to the left, no cigar. Lastly I adjusted the trac bar out 3/4 inch and raised the jeep to where the holes lined up, when I let the jeep down the jeep stayed lifted. what will prevent the body-frame from shifting left?
Thanks any help is appreciated.

Depending on the control arm joints, they might be stiff enough that they're holding the axle to the side. I'd remove one end of the front control arms & see if that doesn't allow the axle to be centered up so you can adjust the track bar length so it holds the axle at that centered position. Then move the new control arm joints to a position so they can be reinstalled.

When you have a choice, buy American made.

Thank you for the suggestion, the joints appear loose and when I installed them they were greased good. Not a big job to disconnect the control arm will try when the snow melts off the jeep.
