can i run 36" iroks

i have a 2001 sport with 4.5" short arm lift & 1" bl. i do not have tube fenders(yet). my concern is the clearance. will i have enough to clear the 36" iroks without shredding my fender flares? i'm all set on gears/axles etc. the clearance is what i'm wondering.

I would think so. It seems to be the common consensus that 4.5" is good for 35s, so the 1" BL should be enough more for 36s. I'm sure you can find someone who has a similiar set up ion JF to answer for sure. Are youn sure you wanna run 36s with 4.56s? Have you upgraded your steering and brakes? You might have already considered all of those things, but I thought it was worth mentioning them.

I ran 36 TSLs with that setup. I have a long arm now and tube fenders because my stock fenders were in rough shape.

yes you can, just adjust your bump stops correctly. and you may want to look into getting tube fenders some day.
I have 37s with that lift but i also have tube fenders.

I run 35"s with 3" inch coils in the front and a budget boost out back !' bl and tube fenders with no prob. just adjust bumpstops if your worried about your fenders

Here's mine with 36" TSLs, 3" FT springs (actually netted about 4"), 1.25" BL and trimmed flares. Flexes great (with JKS control arms, trackbar and discos), only very minor rubbing at full lock turn when hard stuffed. Wheeled it on Pritchett Canyon, Moab Rim, Hell's Revenge, Cliffhanger, Seven Mile Rim, and Fins-n-Things back in May, no issues.

I have 36x13.50 Iroks. They dont rub now but they have before. Here is a pic of now.

The now pic is 5.5 springs and 1 in body lift. 1.5 wheel spacers. 3in tube fenders.
Here is a pic of when I had the Xenons, they rubbed very little on the rear of the rear wheel well.

And here is a pic of when I had the Bushwackers, I also had 4in springs, 2in spacers and 3in body lift. The Bushwackers rubbed slightly.
I now have limiting straps and a rear Currie-Antirock, to help stop some of this.

Here is the rear limiting straps and the rear Currie-Antirock.

The jeep still flexes pretty well and I dont have to worry about the rear spring coming out.
