So i just purchased this TJ and i am unsure how much lift is on it already. i know it is not stock. i was just wondering if the Jeep community could help me out? the tires in the pictures are 265x70x16

I'd say about 2.5-3".

Measure the coils if there are no spacers. 12" front, 8" rear is stock.

The fronts are 15" the backs are about 11"

Yep, looks like you probably have a 3" lift then.

Also another question, do you think 33's would fit, and look good with this lift?

Yes

that's a loaded question. whether they fit or not depends on the suspension setup. you've posted exactly zero useful pictures to tell us what's going on under there, so anyone that advises you 33s will fit has a lack of suspension understanding. you don't know what you have, and only you have the Jeep in front of you. figure out what you have, then determine what it needs, then determine what tires will fit around those parameters.

I'm sorry I'm new at this. What exactly do I need to know and how do I figure that out?

post well lighted detailed pictures of your steering linkages, suspension linkages, springs, shocks, etc.
