Camp Jeep

Having bought my first jeep a couple of months ago, I was very excited to hear about this camp jeep thing. Has anyone ever been to one of these functions before? I would like to attend the one in CA this year since it is only about 9 hours away and the inaugeral year. Any past experience, stories, positive and negative would be interesting to read.

Welcome to the club. Just do a quick search on Camp Jeep using the search function and you will find some threads I am pretty sure. In case you have not seen it, jeep.com has a link to it in Jeep Life area.

I personally have not been. I think I am more suited for a Jamboree. Gonna try to make the one in October here in AR.

I won a trip to Camp Jeep 2002 in Missouri. It was a blast! Unfortunately I was unable to take my Jeep, as Diamler Chrysler paid our round trip airfare, lodging and entry to Camp Jeep. From what Ive heard, the wheeling was fun, but not the reason you go. The exhibits, classes, concert and camaraderie was well worth it, BUT one of the best shows was in the PARKING LOT

I think if you register before May, its $275 for however many seatbelts are in your vehicle.

Have FUN !

Tam
