Cage recommendations???
We just bought a '99 TJ and plan on hitting the trails with it with my son riding in the back.
Saying that, the cage is one of my first priorities. My cousin is going to help me weld it in but I am not sure what company to go with. I like the KOZ full cage kit and the Spider Full cage (both are weld in) but am wondering if there are more companies that offer a full cage kit, like some smaller companies or even some local guys around me (Midwest states? I'm in Indianapolis) If I have to spend $700 I will, it's that important to me but what I have found so far is limited. Any thoughts on A to Z's cage that uses part of the original TJ cage? It looks like the bars go down through the dash and connect to the floor. Thoughts or recommendations? Thanks

I really like the AtoZ sport cage and I'll probably go that route myself. You might also look at Poly Performance and Gen-right full cages. I think they are basically the same cage.

If you have the ability to weld, you should design your own cage for the $700 you are willing to spend you could get your own bender and all the metal you need to do it yourself.

Crzy, honestly I do not have a welder (or welding knowledge) or a tube bender for that matter. Not that I would not like to learn how to do all of that stuff but if I was to design, bend then weld the cage, it would be 2011 and I would really like to go Jeepin before then!!!

i've got a PSC Trail cage I'll be installing within the next month. I bought another 22 ft stick of DOM and will be replacing the windshield bars and putting some triangulation in the rear. The stock cage is a good start. Its all 1.75" x .125 wall HREW.

I like all of A to Zs stuff except their cage. When I installed one I had to cut and fish mouth most of the tubes. PSC was an OK install. Genright/Polyperformance full cage is nice. All require welding and fitting.
