I have an '03 TJ Sport with the 6-cyl. When I run the A/C, it runs a little hotter than normal, which I consider to be reasonable. However, sometimes when decelerating from freeway speeds, such as coming down an exit ramp, the temperature will spike to where it says the engine is overheating. Then, it will come back to normal within a couple of minutes of driving.
I recently had the dealership replace a blown water pump...
Any ideas on what might be causing this weirdness? Anyone else having this problem?
