A/C Hard Line Insulation

I was surprised to find so much uninsulated a/c hard line in the TJ. I was thinking about adding some pipe insulation to the suction line.

I am curious if anyone else has tried adding some insulation. Or if anyone knows of a reason not to.

I don't know of any reason not to, but I can't think of a reason why you would want to...

I got the idea from one of my other vehicles. It was built by Daimler before they teamed up Chrysler.

I do it on almost all mine here in Fl. Helps keep the a/c running just a little colder esp. in traffic. 34
