2006 lj. When I have my ac on one of the first two settings, the air is coming out not just from the front vents but a little from the bottom vents as well. Is that normal? No, I don't have it set on both, just front vents.

Either the lower vent for the floor is not closed all the way, or you might have vacuum leaking, which is opening the lower vent while in the first 2 setting. Try pushing in on hte settings knob a little bit and see if it changes.

I have the same issue. The air is coming out cold and at a pretty good speed so im leaving it for now. Sometimes I have to wiggle or push in on the fan speed knob to get the AC fans blowing. Id try what Twistedtrax said about messing with the knobs a bit then going under under everything and taking a look.

DK8148,

When did you notice the air-flow concern. Did it occur suddenly, or had it been intermittent?

I bought it about 2 months ago and noticed right away. It's probably 80% front vent and the rest below. Does blow cold
