Agreed! There's not a lot in the way of good shops on the east coast, at least not near MD/PA.

Haha! Not necessary for shocks....but for all the little odds & ends that come up with Jeep ownership, it'd be great to have somebody with his experience nearby when you get into something that really stumps ya!

Mudb8,

Do you know if the teraflex shock adaptors that give you another inch of uptravel can be used with a bilstein 7100? the appear to have a standard shock eye, but use heims.

alright quick question that hopefully I can get just a straight forward answer on. I'm installing an RC 4 in suspension lift tommorow also I'm going to have 2 in coil spacers on top of that. I'll be running 35's on stock rims. what size bump stops do I need in front and back? I'm prolly just going to fab some up from materials I have. Any help is appreciated.

it's the s series lift kit. short arm kit. the basic shocks...not the 2.2's.

Does it come with adjustable control arms? If it doesn't I really would not recommend adding the 2" spacers. Anything above 4" on a short arm will give you a terrible ride. I run 35's with a 4inch short arm and they fit well. If you are going to run sway bar disconnects I would run 3" bumpstops.

yeah I'm buying the discos in a couple weeks. so 4 in with 35's has a good amount of clearance? I plan on getting smittybuilt flat fenders so that will help.

Yea actually that's the flares I am running. They made a huge difference in clearance.

Autozone also has them for rent. But it should look good with just the 4" and 35's. Install some 3" bumpstops and it shouldn't rub ever even at full flex.

here's some bumptop/spring tech....

Rear Springs are Rancho 2.5" RS616... unloaded length is 15.5". collapsed to coil bind they are 5",

Which means the 2.5" rear lift springs REQUIRE a minimum of 1.5" bumstop extension whith the relocated spring perches, no loss or gain in ride height was made from the relocation, I made sure to set them exact.

A stock 104 rubicon/sahara rear spring is 11 3/4" unloaded, 3 3/8" @ full coil bind...
