bumpers on my tj!

I have an 04 tj rubicon lifted 4 inches on 305/70/16 tires. i want to buy a front and rear bumper that i can mount a winch to on front and a tire carrier to handle a 35" tire for the rear bumper. i want to spend as little as possible on decent bumpers without fabricating my own, any suggestions or packages, and what brand winch is suggested for a decent price?

thanks!

I would recommend going with metal cloaks frame built bumpers, you can select over a huge amount of different design's. seem pricey but in comparison to any other well built bumper they are a in the same price range and alot less than other bumpers i have seen. the quality function and looks are all there, cant wait to get mine and get rid of my smittybuilt cheap-o-bumper.

I use the factory front bumper with a warn xd9000i winch and adaptor plate. The winch is a little more pricey but you get what you pay for I dont hear often of those winches giving out think last time i checked you can get them around 800 dollar range factory wants allmost 1300

Mine are as cheap as they come pretty much, except if i wanted a winch i would have to get a plate still. but bumper is Bulldog winch stubby that was $185 shipped and rear is a dirtworx bumper and carrier $380 picked up. I am very satisfied with both purchases and they are built like tanks. Check my build for more info

Love my Dirtworx. I bought matching front & rear from them. $660 shipped, I got the swing out with room for 2 gas cans, and a hitch (I did some measuring, and the carrier looks like it'll handle a 36" or bigger without hitting a trailer hitch). Up front I had him put on 4 light tabs, and it's winch-ready, just in case I decide to get one. I also got D-ring mounts all around.

Keep in mind, you paint it yourself. It's shipped bare steel.
Drop him an email if you have something specific in mind. I emailed back and forth with him for a couple of weeks, before I settled on what I bought. I had him make them both a specific length ( I don't remember what length, or even why now!).

Please elaborate on your negative personal experience with smittybuilt besides the fact that you decided to buy a stinger that has no re-enforcement for frontal impacts. im not trying to bash on you, just curious

The smittybuilt does appear to be well built, and for the money you can barely make one for cheaper. Just want to go for something a little more unique and functional. Don't really have use for a stinger out in the Midwest. Nothing wrong with the bumper just not what I want any more

i dont like there stinger personally but i have the SRC and its worked great for me as far as quality, its been getting bounced off trees and rocks, ive even stood my whole jeep on the thing and it has not shown one sign of weakness.

I love my hanson front and rear bumper and tire carrier but they certainly arent cheap. But you usually get what you pay for.
