I need a new front numper; should I opt for a cheap OEM replacement, or should I go for an upgraded unit? Money is tight, and I wouldnt want to spend over $200. I dont like tube style; any suggestions? TIA.

I would recomend going aftermarket, but if you decide to go OEM I have front and rear off 03' Rubicon for sale. with bumperettes.

In my experience "numpers" are very expensive. I would always recomend shopping around. If you buy numpers, next thing you know, you gotta have numper guards.

Rokmen bumpers are very stout and will take any punishment you can give it. My buddy has one and it is great. Here is a write-up on them.

I llike the uglymutha; especially the through-welded d rings. Only thing is, if I pull or get pulled on a downward or upward angle (like out of a hole), wouldnt the rings be stressed incorrectly? It seems they are designed only for level pulling.
Whats your experience? Is my worry unfounded?
