Bumper Frame Tie-In-Are LJ Holes same as TJ

I need to add frame tie-ins to my bumper. Are the holes in the frame identical for an LJ as a TJ? I have searched and think they may be different.

The tie-in brackets that came with my bumper (LoD) are pictured. The holes do not line up. Are the LJ holes alligned different than a TJ or do I have a bad bracket?

i had the same problem with the frame tie-ins I bought from Jeeperman back in 05-ish.

I mounted them on the bumper end, and drove to a local muffler shop and had them weld the frame tie-ins on...cost $20. it's cheaper to do that than ship those back or buy new units.

The tie-ins from my 2000 tj worked fine on my 05 LJ. Everything lined up perfect.

I installed Rokmen tie-ins on my '06 LJ without any alignment issues.

2006 LJ won't line up

Short and simple. LOD bumper with the Rigid Dually cut out; excellent. Frame tie ins; don't line up. LOD says the LJ is different, Rokmen says they are the same as a TJ. Any more information out there on this. I don't want to burn on the frame and yes, I have a drill. I've considered welding the holes shut in the LOD tie ins, marking and re-drilling but if there is something out there that fits I'd rather go fishing and avoid the drama.

LOD is WRONG!!!!! I was told the same thing and started this thread. I purchased new frame tie-ins from Ground Pounder Fab. They lined up perfect and were way better than the ones from LOD. The Ground Pounder Fab frame tie-ins used to be available on e-bay but I cannot find them now. Throw away the LOD frame tie ins and get something else.

That's pretty disconcerting that the LJ is a decade old and they still don't know the differences between a LJ/TJ. I can't imagine how many people they've tried to convince over the years that the frame holes are different between the two models.
