bumper end caps?...

I have a 2006 TJ SE and I would like to add the rubber end caps on my front and rear . Can someone tell me the best place to order them, cost and how difficult is the install? Thank you!

I bought mine from the dealer for like 12 bucks total, easier to install if the bumpers are off. I used stainless nuts and bolts vice the plastic retainers some use. If you can save those PITA factory screws and retainers, use those.

You SURE you wanna take those off? I mean, the rear ones IMO make the read look alot better, but the front ones make the front look alot...umm...different...

I'd say gets rear ones either in the free parts section or from the dealer if they're only $12, and leave the front as-is.

$.02

Both the factory milk jug style cap and factory flat cap are plastic. Which rubber cap are you referring to?

I'm guessing these...

http://www.quadratec.com/products/12106_01.htm

they make them for the fronts as well.

I personally like my factory bumper caps (on the back - hated the front and now I have an aftermarket bumper) and they have saved me more then once. I'm truly amazed at how much those little pieces of plastic can take!

EDIT: But if you want the short style ones then just get them from the dealer.
