Bumper Caps

Hey,

Does anyone know where I could buy those flat bumper caps for the front and rear? I removed the milk jugs and was wanting to pug the bumpers off.

Thanks

Or you can get them from the dealership for like $10.00. I just put mine on this weekend. I think somebody posted the part numbers on here before but I can't find it now.

That would be great, how much for them? Do you have a pic of them?

Just go to the dealer. They're under 10 dollars for all 4. Just say you want flat bumper end caps for a 2006 wrangler. Then it will show up in they're system. Make sure you say 2006 though!

I just got some from the dealer but I can't figure out how to mount them. The screws from the milk jugs don't have any threading to screw into on these new caps. Are y'all yanking the threaded piece out of the milk jugs?

I was thinking about going to the hardware store for some washers and nuts to fit the original screws but if someone else has a solution here it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

If you pop the metal retaining backs off the milk jugs, they will slide onto the new ends enough to give you threads to screw into.

Just get some nuts and bolts from the hardware store. The stock things are a pain in the a$$ anyway.

I just went and got some nuts and bolts that were black oxide finish. Looks about right.

The end caps on the front bumper just make it more effective at catching and holding mud. If you only see mud occasionally it may be OK for you but Iím in mud just about daily and it was just another place I had to keep cleaned out. That was the whole reason I cut my stock front bumper off at an angle from a point just outside the light mount hole to just short of the frame.
