Bug Deflector

I want to buy a mopar bug deflector for my Jeep but I do not want to drill into the hood. Does anyone know an alternate way to install this?

Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil, that true love never dies. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. You see, a man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in.

Thanks for the quick response. The website that offered the reflector did however mentioned that I needed to do some drilling in the stiffener panel. Where exactly is that? Thanks!

I have put the Mopar bug deflector on and I was worried too about the drilling, but it is just a couple holes underneath the hood so that made me feel a little better.

go to yer local shop, Autozone, O'Reily's whatever...

get the Ventishade BugFlector II..........it's all sticky tape and holds quite well.

However, don't plan on deflecting bugs with it. I swear the thing aims those little buggers right at your windshield.

The reason I'm keeping mine on is to protect the hood from rocks being thrown from the vehichle in front of me.

Mine has the Mopar bug deflector on it - 4 small holes & screws on the underside. PO installed it - but I wouldn't trust only double sided tape. It could be easily removed and no one would know it was there before.
