I went to the junkyard and got me one of those lighted rear view mirrors and installed it. Great map reading and increased lighting when I open my doors.

Does anyone have any more info about moving ZJ seats into a TJ? I found a few sets of really nice seats at my local yard. If I use the factory TJ brackets I can move the seat back and forth, but I am concerned about not being able to lean the seat back and forth because that is operated by power. Any help would be much appreciated! |

I was just talking about this today and actually chimed in to mention it. Any more info on it? I've yet to actually go look for one.

Didn't see this method listed on here so I thought I add it. How about a v8 zj tierod over the knuckle on a dana 30 hp. You have to drill your driverside knuckle and purchase and weld in a insert Goferit Products! . The only thing is you have to flip the tierod over also so the adjustment sleeve it on the draglink side. The nice thing is you dont have to relocate the swaybar brackets. The fliped zj tierod has factory bends that clear everything almost perfect. I did notice very little rubbing one the trackbar mount with the sleeve clamp but it was mostly paint transfer. Putting a washer under the limit stop would most likely fix this if your concerned though. I am in process of trying this with a Currie draglink setup and save $100 on a complete currectlink kit.

Yes if not 4" but the spring isn't as secure as I would feel comfortable with.

Anyone manage to get the power fun (& heaters) working on the grand cherokee seats? I'm wondering how smart the BCM is, maybe it could be installed isolated and used solely for the seat controls.. (it seems to be entirely environmental/fluff controls - interior lights, etc. So maybe..maybe..)
