Registered User | have those CV springs sagged at all? still at about 3"? |

Registered User | Nope, springs haven't sagged. I'm running 32 tsl now, have plenty of room. Hopefully I can get some 35s with tax return, should fit nicely. I bought the springs new for 70ish bucks at advanced auto parts. I think its actually a little more than 3 inches of lift, especially now with the 8.8. I used to run xj up country springs with a 2 inch spacer, then I bought some RE XJ 3.5 springs from my friend. __________________ 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport |

Trust me.... | Here's some info on the spring swaps. Grand Cherokee V8 front springs and isolaters - ZJ springs are Moog CC-782 and list for $56.69/pair Crown Victoria rear springs - CV springs are Moog CC-817 and list for $52.39/pair I think this set up gives you 3.5" in back and about 2.5" in front for the 4.0L engine....a little lift more in the front for the 2.5L. __________________ Patriot Blue 2001 TJ Everything I need to fix on the heep: ABS indicator, speed 4 on the blower fan, torn softop over driver's head, both seat release/tilt cables, missing center cap on spare, broken under hood light, wire up the CB, wiring problem with the reverse lights, broken bottle jack, leaky front and rear pinion seals, loose trackbar relocation bracket, torn drivers seat on the side, broken center console lock, lost nuts for door hinges, squeaking centering ball, loose parking brake cable, oil change and rotate the tires. Lighten up, people. | ZJ front springs installed on front TJ provide 3" lift. TJ front springs moved to TJ rear will lift rear to level out the Jeep. What's the advantages of the Durango stearing box swap? Also: What years Durango are compatible with what years TJ? __________________ 04 TJ Willys Edition 41MB-04TJ #4913 97 TJ Dedicated Trail Rig/Project Vehicle: Armored by Offroad Utopia The WILLYS Edition Owners Group TJ Tech BOOT CAMP: A must-read for new TJ owners/forum members |

Registered User | I pulled a CV shaft out of a ford explorer and had it shortend to the correct length. Total cost $130 after replacing the u-joints. ![]() __________________ /l ,[____], l---L -OlllllllO- ()_)-()_)-o-)_) 8.8 Swap: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/8-8-swap-into-tj-build-thread-501704/ |
