Budget Boost & Body Lift Bad Idea?

Has any one had any problems running a bb and a 1" body lift? Handling, cornering, highway dirving? I was wondering because i hit full flex with my 2.25 BB and i max my tire out on my fender clearance. Another inch would help when i disco the sway bars.

I don't see you having a problem. I am running a 4.5" lift with a 1.25" BL and don't have a problem with it. I know quite a few people who went with a BB and 1" BL to be able to run 33's using an inexpensive lift.

Thats is my next mod, I have an REBB now and want to add 1 inch BL & MML so I can clear 33s

will you just barely clear them or will it be a nice fit?

33" tires should work fine with a 2" BB and 1" BL. You of course will need to have the proper bumpstops so the tires don't grind off the flares.

Im going to stick with my 32's. I just want a little more room for flex before i hit the fenders. Thanks for your reply's, if any one has pre advice on methods of installing the JKS 1.25 body lift please let me know.

there is nothing wrong with a 1" BL, it will give you the proper clearance you need to flex with those 32s. go for it

My BB is the one advertised on the main banner on this web site. I cant remember the name of the web site. They offer different packages, i went with 2.25 coil spacers and RE Monotube shocks. They make a world of difference. The extra .25"helps, when a normal BB settles it's usually around 1.75" mine settled at 2".

I don't believe you will need the 1'' BL if you extend you bump stops to keep your tires out of the fenders. That is what I did and the tires don't even come close.

Ran 33x9.5 BFG AT's with an 2" REBB (1.75" actual), 1" BL and proper bumps stops for 3 years with 0 rubbing even at full flex. Ran 33x12.5 for the last year without changing anything else and the only rub I got was at full flex and then it was just a push out on the fender flares.

I never experienced any handling problems on or off road with this set up. With the Doetschtech shocks (when new) it rode better than stock.

So, yes, adding a 1" BL your 32's will have more than enough room and you should not be giving up and handling or feel.

Here's my Jeep with the RE 2" BB and a 1" BL/MML combo. It works very well and gives just enough clearance for the 32x11.50s.

I have a 2" inch Body Lift and a 2" Budget Boost and I have no issues or major changes with handling, cornering, or highway driving.

Of course it is not a sports car....
