Brute Conversion ?
I know I am new to the forums, but Grewe02 has sparked my interests in Jeeps. Who here would do the conversion, or any other conversion for that matter, IF you are still making monthly payment on your jeep? I am just curious. I know the pros and cons to it, but I am just wondering. Also, does anyone know if the suspension kit comes with the Conversion, or if it is just the frame extension along with the conversion to the bed. Grewe02 and I couldn't remember and the site for AEV-Conversions is not complete yet.
Thanks for all the input.

I think you'll find that suspension is separate. Seems to me if you're still paying on the jeep, the cost of the conversion might be a limiting factor for most people. It is not a do-it-yourself bolt on - it will require specialized skills from welding the frame and body to body and paint work. Very expensive proposition. I'd love to do it |

yea
I figured it had all of that do it yourself stuff in it. I wouldn't mind learn that crap and putting the wrench time in. Heck, my POS ranger is still running because of all the maintenence and partial overhaul i have done to her. I think about the only thing I will need to learn is welding, as the painting would be professionally done, as everyone will porobably agree with me.

It's easier to learn to paint than to weld sheet metal car bodies
and I wouldn't let anyone but a very good certified welder weld on my chassis. |

think
I still think the Brute Looks better with the longer bed, but I understand the cost difference and experience level needed for the work. I my self am willing to do suspension work, and help with the conversion, since I am all about putting wrench time in and learning new things, but I know that 8 Grand plus install fees are way more than the post that Grewe02 put up there.
