Breaking in gears
So i got my 4.56 gears installed. I know I should break em in and just let em run for about 500 miles before any serious wheeling. And then swap out the diff fluid. My question is do i need to run in 4wd for 500 miles or can I just stay in 2wd?
Thanks Nick

You do it in 2WD.

you can run it while on jacks to get some heat in the gears, and then take it on a sunday ride for few hours...

Don't worry about it, the factory doesn't do it when we buy them new. Just don't bang on it hard for the first few hundred miles.
