bolt snapped in half from the door where the strap is

what do i do now it. worst part is usually noone rides with me and the one day i take my friend home from fball it happens so any help would be very much appreciated!

Mine did the same thing on my driver's side. I just took off the door panel, removed the broken bolt stud (drilled it out with a slightly larger hole-it didn't want to be extracted), and put in a new bolt with a washer and nut on the inside.

Only downside is you can't just unscrew the bolt from the outside (like stock) anymore, but other than a rare door strap replacement, there is really no reason to undo the bolt.

agreed-ed, i drilled the bolt out and replaced it with a stronger bolt and that should take care of it for ya

I have the same problem on my driver side door.
I haven't fixed it yet, but I'm just going to extract it.

I drilled it out and replaced with a self tapping sheet metal screw....done.
