body mounts

hello and thanks in advance,
has anyone broken their body mount bolts;the ones right under the seats. we were trying to put on step bars and i snapped two of them. while they're off i'd like to change the bushings. seems like i'd have to open up floor from inside to get to them and drill out. anyone that has had to do this please chime in. again thanks

Not sure I quite understand. Assuming you mean you've still got half a bolt sheared off. You should be able to cut off the rest of the bolt from the bottom and drill it out from there.

There is no way to get inside the floor, if you sheered off the bolt head, you have just drill them out from underneath.

Here's an example of cutting through the floor: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/fi...mount-1019950/.
